CMS Releases First List of Providers to Undergo Reenrollment

CMS has released its first list of healthcare providers who will need to revalidate their Medicare enrollment, according to an AHA News Now report.

Providers on the list should receive a letter with instructions on how to reenroll.

The reenrollment is required by the healthcare reform law. Under the law, any provider who enrolled in Medicare before March 25, 2011, must revalidate his or her enrollment by March 2015, but only after receiving a letter to do so.
