Latesha Walker, the provider relations coordinator, will work to improve communication between CMS and healthcare providers, according to the agency’s website. Ms. Walker will address larger process issues and suggestions about how to improve the Medicare recovery auditor and Medicare administrative contractor review processes. For questions about specific claims, providers should continue to turn to the Medicare RACs or MACs who conducted the audits, according to CMS.

Providers can contact Ms. Walker by email at RAC@cms.hhs.gov for RAC concerns and MedicareMedicalReview@cms.hhs.govfor MAC concerns.
