Mr. Allison, who currently serves as executive director of the Division of Health Care Finance for the Kansas Department of Health, will replace Gene Gessow, who resigned last month.
In his new position, Mr. Allison will oversee the state’s plans to switch from a fee-for-service to bundled episode model. Arkansas received federal approval in May to develop the changes.
