In recognition of the gift, Cleveland Clinic renamed its leadership development program the Mandel Global Leadership and Learning Institute.

“The new Mandel Global Leadership and Learning Institute will allow high-quality programs to be delivered in a technologically advanced platform in the new Samson Pavilion at the Health Education Campus, a partnership between Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic that opened this summer,” Gina Cronin, chief talent development officer of the Mandel Institute, said in a press release. “Thousands of Cleveland Clinic caregivers will take part in these expanded leadership programs, focusing on their professional development for today’s healthcare sector and preparing themselves for healthcare leadership of the future.”

The gift will also be used to create the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Global Leadership and Learning Pathway, a training initiative to help cultivate Cleveland Clinic caregivers for future executive leadership roles throughout the organization.
