CHS spinoff announces $400M bond offering

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems’ 38-hospital spinoff Quorum Health Corp., has commenced an offering to sell $400 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes in a public offering. The notes will be due in 2023.

QHC plans to use the net proceeds of the offering to pay a special dividend to CHS and to pay fees and expenses related to the planned spinoff of the company from CHS.

The offering is expected to close April 22, subject to customary closing conditions, according to QHC.
