CHS Releases Offer Results on $1.78B in Senior Notes

Community Health Systems, based in Franklin, Tenn., announced that $1.67 billion of the approximate $1.78 billion in 8.875 percent senior notes due in 2015 has been validly tendered and not withdrawn.

Up to $850 million will be accepted for purchase. CHS has accepted tendered notes on a prorated basis, and CHS will make an announcement when the cash tender offer is complete.

In December, CHS completed a cash tender offer of $1 billion of these same senior notes, which totaled roughly $2.8 billion previously.
