Irving, Texas-based Christus Health recorded operating income of $202 million (3.9% operating margin) in the first half of fiscal 2026, up from $98.8 million (2.1% margin) during the same period last year, according to its Feb. 27 financial report.
Christus Health recorded total operating revenue of $5.2 billion for the six months ended Dec. 31, up from $4.7 billion during the same period last year. Net patient service revenue was $4.3 billion, up from $4 billion. Premium revenue was $376.6 million, up from $313 million. Services and other revenue was $489.3 million, up from $355.6 million.
Total operating expenses were $5 billion in the first half of fiscal 2026, up from $4.6 billion during the same period last year. Employee compensation and benefits were $2.1 billion, up from $2 billion. Services and other expenses were $1.7 billion, up from $1.5 billion. Supply expenses totaled $927 million, up from $833.2 million.
Christus Health reported net income of $276.5 million in the first half of fiscal 2026, up from $139.7 million during the same period last year.
