Endowed chairs, which are established with a minimum gift of $1.5 million, help attract talent to the hospital. Children’s has 25 endowed chairs.

“Endowed chairs ensure that various doctors make Children’s their home,” Mr. Mardak said, according to the Biz Times. “Hopefully this [gift] will do a lot of good for the children that go through Children’s Hospital.”

Hal Leonard is a music publishing and distribution company based in Milwaukee.
