Plano, Texas-based Community Hospital Corp. has extended its supply chain support services with the launch of CHC Supply Trust.
Here are three things to know about CHC Supply Trust.
1. CHC Supply Trust offers four levels of supply chain support:
• Group purchasing organization access only
• Supply chain consulting
• Customized support services agreement
• Outsourced materials management
2. "With guidance and support from CHC Supply Trust, community hospitals can access better tier pricing and see healthy improvements to their bottom line. This reduction in supply costs equates to about a 10 percent savings annually, and for community hospitals, that's huge," Michael D. Williams, CHC's president and CEO, said in a news release.
3. CHC Supply Trust is able to bring these supply cost savings to community hospitals through a longtime partnership with HealthTrust, a supply chain cost management firm.
