Here are four things to know about Mr. Hamood.
1. He will begin at Change Healthcare Aug. 21, succeeding Randy Giles, who is retiring from the company.
2. He has served as executive vice president and CFO of TransUnion Corp., a credit and information management company in Chicago, for nearly a decade.
3. At TransUnion, Mr. Hamood played a key role in taking the company public, as well as multiple other transactions, according to Change Healthcare.
4. Mr. Hamood also previously was senior vice president and CFO for the U.S. Region of Plano, Texas-based IT company Electronic Data Systems.
