Here are four things to know about Mr. Eliasson.
1. Prior to joining Change Healthcare, Mr. Eliasson worked at transportation supplier CSX Corp. for two decades, according to a news release. There, he was executive vice president and CFO, as well as chief sales and marketing officer.
2. At CSX, Mr. Eliasson helped to revamp the company’s business focus, according to the release. Change Healthcare said he also “drove improved revenue and earnings growth, and increased shareholder value substantially” at CSX Corp.
3. Mr. Eliasson’s other roles at CSX Corp. have also included vice president of emerging markets, director of investor relations and vice president of commercial finance.
4. He earned a bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
