Ms. Badinger has worked in healthcare accounting and finance at hospital systems in the greater New Orleans region for more than 17 years. Before joining the 182-bed SMH, she served as CFO of Cypress Pointe Surgical Hospital, a 24-bed physician-owned hospital in Hammond, La., which opened in December 2010.
Ms. Badinger also was CFO of two other physician-owned hospitals — Fairway Medical Surgical Hospital in Covington, La., and Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe. Her education also is founded in the area, as she received both her bachelor’s in accounting and master’s of business administration from the University of New Orleans.
