In fiscal year 2011, Mr. Curry and the executive team helped the for-profit hospital operator boost its profit to $178.7 million, up more than 19 percent from the $150 million posted in FY 2010. Net revenue has also grown consistently, as it increased 14 percent to $5.8 billion last year.
Mr. Curry, who also is a certified public accountant as well as an ordained minister, has held several roles within Health Management. Prior to his current appointment, he was chief administrative officer and COO. He has also served various hospital leadership executive roles at Health Management since 1982.
