The partnership aims to help healthcare organizations support patients’ understanding and payment of medical bills. Simplee’s financial engagement platform uses data analytics and machine learning to offer patients personalized estimates and payment options.
By integrating its platform with Cerner’s consumer technology, patients and providers will be able to access the combined services from a single user interface.
“Adding Simplee’s expertise in consumer-friendly billing helps Cerner simplify this part of the healthcare experience through third-party innovation,” said David Bradshaw, senior vice president of consumer and employer solutions at Cerner, according to the news release. “This relationship will help drive a transformation of the billing and payment process and help providers give consumers more convenience in healthcare.”
