CarePayment appoints SVP and general counsel: 3 things to know

CarePayment, a self-described “patient financial engagement company,” appointed Brian McCarthy senior vice president and general counsel.

Here are three things to know about Mr. McCarthy.

1. In his new role, Mr. McCarthy will be responsible for CarePayment’s legal, compliance and human resources departments, according to the company.

2. Previously, he served as vice president and general counsel at the healthcare company OccuSystems.

3. Mr. McCarthy, a licensed attorney, also previously worked in the structured finance group at Guggenheim Partners in Chicago.
