Miami-based Cano Health plans to lay off 78 employees on June 30, according to four WARN notices.
The primary care provider will close four Florida locations in Clermont, Orlando, Kissimmee and St. Cloud.
Affected employee roles include general and internal medicine physicians, medical assistants, nurse practitioners, phlebotomists, health center managers and care management coordinators, according to the notices.
“The employment loss is expected to be permanent and attributed solely to the closure of the above-referenced four office locations,” according to a letter attached to each notice. “There are no unions affiliated with the affected employees, and there are no bumping rights.”
Cano Health emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July 2024 after it filed for bankruptcy in February 2024. The company also named Eric Jenkins CEO in April 2025.
