Through Lockbox’s document scanning process, HMEs are able to process patient payments through automation rather than manually. Bank funds and documents go online and then funds are applied to the HME’s accounts receivable, the company said via news release.
“Lockbox helps solve one of HMEs’ top concerns: how to get paid faster,” added Shaw Rietkerk, executive vice president and general manager of Brightree’s revenue cycle management arm. “At a time when many companies are dealing with rising labor costs and increased borrowing costs, our automation technology gives customers an attractive payment processing solution that improves their cash flow, saves time and money, and decreases the potential for errors.”
