The hospital was notified a few months ago that it would not receive $64 million for care delivered to low-income Medicaid patient during the last fiscal year, according to the Boston Globe. The hospital is facing a $30 million cut in Medicaid rates for fiscal year 2009 along with millions in reduced supplemental payments, according to the Boston Herald.
