BRRH recorded revenue of $462.3 million in the fiscal year that ended June 30, up 11.5 percent from revenue of $414.5 million in FY 2015.

However, higher expenses related to labor, supplies and professional fees dragged down the hospital’s bottom line. BRRH also paid to settle a large medical malpractice claim in FY 2016, according to the report.

BRRH ended FY 2016 with net income of $3.9 million, down 68 percent from net income of $12.2 million in the year prior.
