Partners is currently negotiating with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan for new contracts. Current contracts aren’t set to expire until next year, and some see the reopening of the contracts as a sign of the provider’s willingness to help reduce premium rates, according to the report.
