Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation receives $1M donation

Pomona, N.J.-based Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation received a $1 million donation from James Klinghoffer, a local philanthropist, to establish a specialized neurological recovery center, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

The $1 million gift will also help pay for advanced robotic technology to help patients with neurological injuries, diseases or disabilities regain some mobility.

“We’re going to have the best [robotic] devices for upper and lower extremities all because of Klinghoffer’s generosity,” Gabe Staino, Bacharach’s senior development officer, told the Press of Atlantic City.
