The new facility serves as the teaching hospital for Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin and is owned and operated by Seton Healthcare Family, which is a member of St. Louis-based Ascension.
Dell Seton Medical Center will serve as an anchor for a healthcare innovation zone in downtown Austin and is designed for growth. The hospital can add additional operating rooms and up to 135 more beds in the future.
