Atrium Health seeks OK for North Carolina hospital to open in 2022

Charlotte, N.C.-based Atrium Health is seeking a certificate of need to construct a new hospital in Stallings, N.C., according to WFAE.

The proposed 40-bed, 150,000-square-foot hospital could open as soon as 2022 if approved.

Atrium’s application will be reviewed by state regulators and undergo a public comment period before a decision is made.
