Irving, Texas-based Christus Health has shared plans to retain all Mount Pleasant, Texas-based Titus Regional Medical Center employees “in good standing” after May 1, once the system acquires the independent hospital.
“As we welcome our new associates, our foremost priority is honoring the individuals who have faithfully served Titus Regional Medical Center,” a spokesperson for Christus Health said in an April 27 statement shared with Becker’s. “[We] are committed to a thoughtful integration plan
that supports our associates, ensures a smooth transition for our patients and meets the needs of the community we are privileged to serve.”
Christus shared plans to acquire Titus Regional in early February, after the 174-bed facility’s board of managers voted to move forward with the transaction.
The partnership aims to strengthen Titus Regional’s clinical programs, expand its resources and ensure community care is continued close to home.
