MUMC CEO Margaret Gill said the boosted collections are helping the hospital achieve its goal of increasing revenues by $15 million this year by addressing revenue cycle issues, according to the report.
Through the first eight months of 2011, MUMC has also seen its total patient revenues up $6.5 million from last year, and its patient volume is also up by roughly 7 percent.
