The agreement covers about 11,900 Aetna members who received care from an Optimus physician in the last two years.
Under the agreement, Optimus physicians will be rewarded for meeting certain quality, efficiency and patient satisfaction goals, including:
• Increasing the percentage of members who receive preventive care and screenings
• Improving management of patients with chronic conditions
• Reducing readmissions
• Reducing emergency department visits
