With the move, Acryness aims to streamline their operations and better support their SelfPay Works platform, according to a news release. The goal of the platform is to help healthcare providers initiate and maintain conversations with patients about their financial responsibility and payment options.
Forte and Acryness developed a strong relationship under the PayFac model through Vantiv, which allowed Acryness to onboard sub-merchants quickly by accepting liability, according to a news release.
This all factored into the growth of the companies’ relationship over the years. Now, the companies said, the most recent transition will simplify Acryness’ back office and give customers the option of accepting payments through any of the major processors via Forte.
