Accretive signs client with $700M in net patient revenue, Allscripts announces share repurchase program & more – 6 RCM company key notes

Here are six recent news updates on key healthcare revenue cycle management companies.

In the third quarter of 2015, Accretive Health signed a new revenue cycle client with $700 million in net patient revenue. 

Allscripts announced a new, $150 million share repurchase program, which will run through Dec. 31, according to a Zacks report.

Williamsburg, Va.-based eScribe, a company created to relieve physicians from data entry tasks for insurance reimbursement, was acquired by national competitor ScribeAmerica.

Capital One acquired GE Capital's Healthcare Financial Services lending business.

Computer Programs & Systems, an EHR developer focused on rural, community and critical access hospitals, acquired Healthland Holding and its affiliates, including Rycan, a SaaS-based revenue cycle management workflow and automation software provider.

Signature Performance, a provider of revenue cycle management services, Tuesday confirmed winning a $85 million billing and collections services contract for various U.S. Air Force bases.
