Accipiter Capital ups stake in CHS

Accipiter Capital holds 2,432,366 shares of Community Health Systems after scooping up 1,687,136 shares of the Franklin, Tenn.-based hospital operator in the most recent quarter, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The hedge fund’s shares of CHS are valued at $26.63 million. CHS makes up about 15.09 percent of Accipiter’s portfolio, according to Trade Calls.

Other hedge funds, including D. E. Shaw, also upped their stakes in CHS in the most recent quarter.
