ACA International to give updates on medical debt reporting

ACA International, the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals, will host a teleseminar Aug. 11 on reporting medical debt.

The event will focus on laws/regulation relating to credit reporting and medical debt collections and best practices used by ACA and the Healthcare Financial Management Association, ACA said.

During the teleseminar, Thomas Gavinski, vice president healthcare revenue cycle of ARS National Services in Escondido, Calif., will speak on how to effectively collect on medical accounts while remaining compliant.

The teleseminar is slated to run 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CDT on Aug. 11.
