Able Health unveils new MIPS reporting platform

The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act's Merit-Based Incentive Payment System began Jan. 1. To assist providers, Able Health, a health IT company based in San Francisco, has launched a MIPS platform for reporting and performance improvement.

Able Health for MIPS is designed to help providers "to improve performance and submit data to CMS with less time, money and stress," according to the company's website.

According to Able Health, the platform can take in patient data from EHRs and data warehouses, calculate any MIPS registry quality measure or electronic clinical quality measure, and provide a dashboard for administrators to monitor and improve a group or provider's MIPS composite performance score.

Through Able Health for MIPS, the company also facilitates data submission to CMS for all three reported MIPs performance categories: quality, advancing care information and improvement activities, the website states.
