AAEM taps Intermedix to manage new independent physician group

The American Academy of Emergency Medicine has chosen Intermedix to provide practice management services for AAEM’s newly formed independent physician group.

“When planning the creation of this group, we knew we needed to provide physicians with appropriate supporting services,” said Mark Reiter, MD, AAEM President. “Intermedix’s strong history of serving emergency room physicians made the selection of the company the clear choice.”

Intermedix will provide accounting, payroll, analytics and other administrative needs for the physician group. Intermedix offers revenue cycle management services in addition to its practice management arm, and currently serves 15,000 healthcare provides and nationwide.
