In 2011, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration set a $1,000 annual limit on dental coverage under the state’s Medicaid program. The appellate court upheld a district court’s ruling that the $1,000 limit violated state and federal Medicaid laws.
The FSSA has yet to determine whether it will appeal the latest ruling, according to the report. The agency has said that it may cut dental coverage altogether if the limits are barred.
