Aurora Health Care Clinic Selected as Medicare Shared Savings ACO

Milwaukee, Wis.-based Aurora Health Care’s Lakeshore Medical Clinic has been selected to participate in the Medicare Shared Savings Program, according to a report by the Milwaukee Business Journal.

The accountable care organization will include 10,000 Medicare members in the Milwaukee area, according to the report.

Lakeshore Medical has locations throughout Wisconsin and more than 100 physicians.

Aurora Health Care has launched other accountable care organizations with private insurers Aetna and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
