6 latest CFO moves in hospitals, health systems

The following hospital and health system CFO moves were announced or completed since Sept. 9, beginning with the most recent.

1. The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., named George Sprinkel CFO.

2. Placentia (Calif.)-Linda Hospital, part of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, named Brittany Whitaker CFO.

3. Burlington-based University of Vermont Medical Center and the University of Vermont Medical Group appointed Rick Vincent vice president of finance and CFO.

4. Money Atwal, CFO of Honolulu-based Hawaii Health Systems Corp.'s East Hawaii region, will be taking an extended leave of absence.

5. Michael Reney, senior vice president and CFO at Boston-based Brigham and Women's Hospital, is leaving his position to become CFO of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, also in Boston.

6. Houston County Community Hospital in Erin, Tenn., hired Ken Tillman as CFO.
