The report, released by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, also made the following findings:

In states that have expanded Medicaid eligibility, 68 percent of the uninsured became eligible for financial assistance with health insurance coverage in 2014.

In states that have not expanded Medicaid eligibility, 44 percent of the uninsured became eligible for financial assistance in 2014.

Eighteen percent of uninsured individuals became eligible for subsidized private insurance through the new health insurance marketplace in states that have expanded Medicaid eligibility.

Twenty-six percent of uninsured individuals became eligible for subsidized private insurance in 2014 in states that have not expanded Medicaid eligibility.
