States are in the process of reviewing health insurers’ premiums and participation in the 2019 ACA individual marketplace. As data become available for additional states, KFF will update its premium tracker for what a second lowest-cost silver plan and the lowest-cost bronze plan will cost per month without subsidies.
Insurers’ rates and participation in the marketplaces will be finalized in late summer or early fall.
Here are the five states with the highest monthly premiums before subsidies for silver plans to date:
Vermont — $645 a month
Maryland — $622
New York — $594
Maine — $557
Virginia — $516
