1. Peter K. Markell, treasurer and CFO of Boston-based Partners HealthCare, was in the news this week discussing challenges the system is facing regarding Neighborhood Health Plan, the system's insurance arm.

2. Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan CFO Kathy Lancaster was in the news this week discussing her system's strong financial results for fiscal 2014.

3. Michael Tengeres was in the news this week as he was named vice president and CFO of Cooperstown, N.Y.-based Bassett Healthcare Network.
