Three health systems struck new revenue cycle management partnerships between Dec. 9-10:

1. Batesville, Ind.-based Margaret Mary Health said Dec. 10 it is transitioning its revenue cycle operations to Revology, effective March 2. The critical access hospital said that the shift is not a cost-reduction strategy but reflects the hospital’s “commitment to improving the tools, technology and expertise needed to thrive in today’s increasingly complex reimbursement environment.”

2. Minneapolis-based Children’s Minnesota on Dec. 10 selected Ensemble Health Partners as its strategic RCM partner. Under the agreement, the entirety of the health system’s revenue cycle will be led by Ensemble’s integrated model, from patient access and registration through account resolution.

3. Conifer Health struck a multi-year contract on Dec. 9 to manage end-to-end revenue cycle operations for Anniston-based Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center. As part of the agreement, Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center’s revenue cycle team will transition to Conifer.
