Children’s Hospitals GME Bill Reintroduced in House Subcommittee

Legislation to reauthorize the Children’s Hospitals Graduate Medical Education program was reintroduced in the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Health Subcommittee.

The CHGME program supports residency programs at independent children’s teaching hospitals across the country.

Legislation to reauthorize CHGME was passed in the last Congress but was held up in the Senate. It was reintroduced Tuesday as part of the new Congress.
