UCHealth opens 74-bed hospital in Highlands Ranch

Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth opened its 74-bed Highlands Ranch (Colo.) Hospital to patients June 18, according to local news station 9NEWS.

The new six-story hospital features an 18-bed intensive care unit, six operating rooms, an emergency department and a cardiac suite.

The hospital hired 500 employees to staff the new facility.
