The health department asked the hospital to cancel the surgeries, but all other services, including the emergency department, are running as usual.

The hospital had protocols in place to deal with a drop in or loss of water pressure, including distributing hand sanitizer, water and ice to patients, visitors and staff. The hospital’s infection control and patient safety teams are monitoring the situation.
