The plan will consolidate cancer research labs, equipment and staff on the campus. Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers included $15 million for the center in his proposed budget.
“The Medical College of Wisconsin deeply appreciates Gov. Evers’ proposed investment for a cancer research facility on our campus,” John R. Raymond Sr., MD, president and CEO of the school, said in a news release.
