The new hospital added five floors and 222 private rooms to a patient care tower on the campus. It also features 24 labor and delivery rooms, four new C-section operating rooms, 84 level 4 neonatal intensive care unit rooms, 12 women’s VIP suites and 16 women’s medical/surgical rooms
The VIP suites feature a wide array of amenities, including flat-screen HD 55-inch televisions, refrigerators and a chef-prepared celebratory meal.
The new Women’s Hospital is part of Irving, Texas-based Medical City Healthcare’s $1.7 billion-plus capital investment initiative.
