Jefferson Washington Township Hospital breaks ground on $205M expansion

Turnersville, N.J.-based Jefferson Washington Township Hospital broke ground May 9 on its $205 million expansion project, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The expansion project will be split up into two phases. The first phase, expected to be completed in spring of 2019, will include constructing an eight-story parking garage with more than 800 spaces.

The second phase calls for construction of a seven-story patient tower with 60 private rooms, an outpatient surgery unit and a new central processing distribution center.

The second phase is slated for completion in 2021.
