IU Health starts construction of $400M hospital, academic complex

Bloomington-based Indiana University Health began construction of its $400 million, 735,000-square-foot Regional Academic Health Center, according to a WBIW report.

The complex will house IU Health’s inpatient and outpatient services and will have 115,000 square feet of space dedicated to health sciences education and research.  

The five-floor medical facility will house inpatient beds, a comprehensive cancer center, specialty physician offices, surgical suites and a diagnostic center.

Completion of the complex is slated for 2020.
