Intermountain releases details of $150M hospital: 4 things to know

Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare released details June 11 of its planned $150 million Spanish Fork (Utah) Hospital, according to the Daily Herald.

Here are four things to know:

1. Spanish Fork Hospital, which will sit on a 45-acre campus, will serve as a community hospital.

2. The hospital will feature five labor and delivery rooms, two caesarean section rooms, two antepartum rooms, 12 postpartum beds, 12 emergency department rooms, four operating rooms and two gastroenterology suites.

3. The facility will offer imaging services, cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing and infusion therapy as well as urgent care services.

4. A ground breaking for the hospital is scheduled for Aug. 13. Construction is slated for completion in 2020.
