Florida Hospital Winter Garden breaks ground on medical office building

Construction started Tuesday on a medical office building next to Florida Hospital Winter Garden the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Once completed, the facility will offer 72,000 square feet of space.

“In addition to the high demand for emergency care, we have also seen great demand for primary and specialty healthcare services,” Amanda Maggard, campus CEO, said in a news release. “This building will allow us to further gather physicians of various specialties in one central location and offer even more outpatient services right here in West Orange.”

The building is expected to open next year, according to the West Orange Times & Observer.
