The surgical department is housed in the main floor of the facility. The project, which began in 2013, increased the hospital’s neonatal unit capacity, as well as its private rooms and stroke and heart care services.

The main floor of the facility previously housed Community Hospital’s birthing center. It was moved after construction on a $34 million tower was completed in 2014, the report states.
