Cincinnati hospital plans $56.6 million expansion: 4 things to know

Cincinnati-based Good Samaritan Western Ridge Ambulatory Campus, part of Cincinnati-based TriHealth, will more than double in size with a $56.6 million expansion.

Here are four things to know:

1. Plans call for an 88,000-square-foot, two-story addition, which will expand access to primary care and specialty services. Upon completion, the ambulatory campus will be 141,000 square feet.

2. The two-story addition will be built on the side of the existing building and house 14 new primary care physicians and 17 new physicians specializing in cosmetic surgery, cardiovascular health and cancer.

3. Construction is slated for completion in winter 2020.

4. "By expanding the Good Samaritan Western Ridge campus, we are creating a healthcare destination for the west side community offering much-needed primary care, as well as our nationally recognized cancer and cardiovascular programs, in addition to our full range of outpatient and emergency department services currently available," TriHealth President and CEO Mark Clement said.
